Reform Sues UK Government Over Possible Local Election Delay

The populist Reform party is suing the UK government, challenging proposals that may delay local elections, according to a court order.

Reform is seeking to block potential government moves to postpone county and district elections due in May, the notice published late Friday showed. While Reform’s leader Nigel Farage declared that more than two dozen local councils had asked for polls to be delayed, the UK government said ministers were still to decide whether to postpone them.
