French Premier Proposes Budget Overhaul in Bid for Stability

French Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu proposed an overhaul of his budget plans as he strains for a deal with key opposition parties to secure a finance bill and avert another government collapse.

“This budget will be different from the initial one - it’s better, it can bring people together, and I believe it’s responsible,” he said in a televised address Friday.
