Switzerland’s government said it will cover potential gaps in financial support schemes for victims of the deadly fire that took place during New Year celebrations at a ski resort bar.
The Federal Council is prepared to request funding from parliament to support the victims and their families if needed, it said in a statement Wednesday. “No one should fall through the net of existing support services,” the executive said.
