Ex-Coatue Stock-Picker Senft Raises $2.5 Billion for Fund

Former Coatue Management stock-picker Daniel Senft collected $2.5 billion for his equities-focused hedge fund, one of the largest recent debuts despite a difficult fundraising environment.

NX1 Capital started trading its long-short equities fund this month, focusing on technology firms and betting on companies it expects to lead innovations in areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics and autonomous driving, according to people familiar with the firm.
