New Zealand Employment Hits Eight-Month High as Economy Bounces

New Zealand employers added more jobs for the third month in four in November as lower interest rates and signs of an economic recovery boost business confidence.

Filled jobs rose by 6,569 or 0.3% from October to 2.35 million, Statistics New Zealand said Wednesday in Wellington. That’s the highest level of employed workers since March and comes after the tally dropped to a two-and-a-half-year low in July.
