Deutsche Lufthansa AG will equip more than 800 planes with SpaceX’s Starlink service as the group tries to bolster its premium appeal in an increasingly competitive market.

Starlink technology, which Lufthansa described as the industry’s fastest in-flight internet, will be installed across the group’s fleet and be available in all travel classes, the company said in a statement Tuesday. The rollout is set to begin in the second half of this year and be completed by 2029.
