Coutts Weighs Offering Ares and Apollo Funds for Wealth Clients

Coutts & Co. is weighing plans to give its wealthy clients access to funds run by some of the world’s largest alternative asset managers as it seeks to cash in on demand for private assets.

The private bank, owned by Natwest Group Plc, is considering whether to offer clients so-called evergreen funds managed by Ares Management Corp. and Apollo Global Management Inc., according to a person with knowledge of the potential plan who asked not to be identified as the information is not public.
