Bitpanda Said to Gear Up for Frankfurt IPO in First Half of 2026

Bitpanda GmbH, a cryptocurrency trading platform backed by billionaire Peter Thiel, is gearing up for a Frankfurt initial public offering as soon as the first half of this year, according to people familiar with the matter.

The Vienna-based company could seek a valuation of between €4 billion ($4.7 billion) to €5 billion in the offering, the people said, asking not to be identified as the discussions are private. Bitpanda has hired Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Citigroup Inc. and Deutsche Bank AG to arrange the offering, they said. A listing in the first quarter is a possibility, some of the people said.
