US stocks advanced to a record Monday amid a renewed debate around the “sell America” trade following President Donald Trump’s latest attack on the Federal Reserve.

The S&P 500 Index finished 0.2% higher in New York, setting a fresh all-time closing high. The Nasdaq 100 Index rose 0.08%, while the Cboe Volatility Index hovered at around 15.
