Indonesia Raises $2.7 Billion in the Latest Sovereign Sale
Indonesia sold $2.7 billion of US-dollar bonds, the first such offering by an Asian sovereign this year and following a raft of emerging-market peers as the start of 2026 has seen record global debt issuance.
The Southeast Asian government sold notes in three parts, with maturities of five to 30 years, according to a person with direct knowledge of the matter. The longest portion of the deal — a $500 million note maturing in 2056 — will yield 5.5% after initial price talk was in the 5.8% area, the person added.
