Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Shares Jump as New CEO Appointed

Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd. shares jumped Monday after fast-food veteran Merrill Pereyra was appointed as the company’s new chief executive officer for Australia and New Zealand.

Pereyra joins from Yum! Brands Inc., where he has been managing director of Pizza Hut India since 2019, Domino’s said in a statement. All up, he has more than 30 years’ experience in the quick-service restaurant industry, including stints with McDonald’s Corp. and as CEO of Domino’s Pizza Indonesia.
