Corn Rises to Two-Week High as Report Seen Cutting US Yield

Corn futures hit the highest in two weeks as traders await a key monthly report from the US Department of Agriculture, which is expected to pare the outlook for US corn yields.

Analysts surveyedBloomberg Terminal by Bloomberg, on average, expect the World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates data to lower the yield outlook for the grain to 184 bushels per acre, versus 186 bushels forecast in December. The harvest of the grain — which is the most widely sown American crop — has now wrapped up.
