Data Center Electrical Equipment Maker Forgent Files for US IPO

Forgent Power Solutions Inc., a designer and manufacturer of electrical equipment used in data centers, filed for a US initial public offering.

The Dayton, Minnesota-based company had net income of $10 million on revenue of $283 million for the three months ended Sept. 30, compared with net income of $6.3 million on revenue of $154 million in the corresponding period a year earlier, according to its filing Friday with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
