Prices in the secondary market for luxury timepieces rose to the highest in more than two years, boosted primarily by demand for dress watches favored by celebrities like Taylor Swift.
The Bloomberg Subdial Watch Index, which tracks the 50 most-traded timepieces by transaction value, gained 8% in 2025. While prices slid slightly in November, they bounced back last month on holiday-season purchases, climbing to the highest since October 2023.
