Colombian inflation exceeded the upper limit of the central bank’s target range for a fifth straight year in 2025, as policymakers weigh the need for a new round of interest-rate increases.

Annual inflation slowed slightly to 5.1% in 2025, from 5.2% a year earlier, the national statistics agency said Thursday. The number compares with a 5.18% median forecast in a Bloomberg survey of economists. Prices advanced 0.27% in December from a month earlier.
