China Starts Anti-Dumping Probe Into Japan Chipmaking Material

China launched an anti-dumping probe into imports from Japan of dichlorosilane, a material used in the chipmaking process, the Ministry of Commerce said in a statement.

The investigation was initiated after an application submitted by Tangshan Sanfu Electronic Materials Co., the ministry said. The probe will cover the period from the start of July 2024 to then end of June 2025.
