Amazon Joins Artwork-Style TV Trend With $899 ‘Ember Artline’

Amazon.com Inc. unveiled a television designed to resemble a piece of framed art, making it the latest TV maker to emulate a sleek design popularized by Samsung Electronics Co.

The new TV, called the Amazon Ember Artline, will be available this spring in 55- and 65-inch sizes, Amazon said in a statement on Monday. Both have 4K resolution and support high dynamic range, or HDR, formats such as Dolby Vision. The line starts at $899 for the smaller version.
