Zelenskiy Taps New Defense Chief to Boost Ukraine’s Drone Power

President Volodymyr Zelenskiy proposed a trusted ally and technology booster to serve as Ukraine’s defense minister, saying his task will be to strengthen wartime drone capabilities.

First Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, who also has a key cabinet role as minister for digital transformation, has been deeply involved in developing military technology, Zelenskiy said in a video announcement on Telegram.
