US Says It Killed, Captured 25 Islamic State Fighters in Syria

The strikes were in response to the killing of two US soldiers and an interpreter in the country. President Donald Trump had pledged to do “big damage” to the militants behind the deadly attack that he blamed on the Islamic State group.
