Worldline Rules Out M&A in Medium Term, CEO Tells Repubblica

Worldline SA has no plans to pursue mergers or acquisitions in the medium term, Chief Executive Officer Pierre-Antoine Vacheron said in an interview with La Repubblica, playing down market speculation about a potential combination with Italian rival Nexi SpA.

“Our priority is to relaunch the group and return to generating cash,” the executive said in an interview published Saturday. “I do not see scope — in the medium term — for new mergers or extraordinary acquisitions.”
