Turkey Raises Minimum Wage by 27%, in Line With Expectations
Turkey increased the minimum wage by 27% for next year, broadly in line with inflation forecasts, in a sign policymakers remain committed to controlling price rises.
The official net minimum pay per month will be set at 28,075 liras ($655), Labor Minister Vedat Isikhan said in Ankara on Tuesday. Wall Street expects Turkish inflation to ease to about 25% by end-2026, compared with 31.1% in November.
