Libya’s Military Chief of Staff Dies in Jet Crash in Turkey
A private jet carrying Libya’s military chief of staff, Mohammed Ali Ahmed al-Haddad, crashed in central Turkey, killing him and seven others, Libya’s internationally recognized government said.
Turkey found the wreckage of the Falcon 50 jet near the town of Haymana after it disappeared while flying from Ankara to Tripoli on Tuesday evening, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said in a post on X.
