Poland Seeks G-20 Membership to Give Voice to Eastern Europe

Poland seeks to become a permanent member in the Group of 20 — a club of the world’s biggest economies — to help represent dynamic Eastern Europe after a speedy advance in living standards, according to Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski.

The country, whose economy topped $1 trillion this year, has been invited by US President Donald Trump to take part in next year’s G-20 summit, which is planned to be held in Florida.
