Nestlé’s Nespresso Appoints New North American Chief Executive
Nestlé SA’s Nespresso has appointed a new chief executive for North America, filling an opening created by a reshuffling of leaders at the parent company after a scandal earlier this year.
The incoming executive, Jean-Christophe Jaunin, will start on Jan. 1 in the post, which was most recently occupied by Alfonso Gonzalez Loeschen. Headquartered in Switzerland, Nespresso makes coffee machines and single-use capsules, and is a unit of food company Nestlé, which also produces Toll House chocolate chips and Lean Cuisine frozen meals.
