Canada Economy Grew Slightly in November Following October Dip

The Canadian economy continues to display resilience despite US tariffs, with initial estimates showing a small expansion last month. But growth is set to be negative for the quarter, with economists warning of a challenging 2026.

Industry-based gross domestic product grew by 0.1% in November, according to a flash estimate from Statistics Canada on Tuesday. It had fallen by 0.3% in October, in line with expectations from a Bloomberg survey of economists and the most since December 2022.
