Porsche to Shut China Charging Network Amid Sales Slump

Porsche AG plans to shutter its proprietary charging network for electric vehicles in China as the brand continues to lose share in the world’s largest auto market.

The Volkswagen AG unit, which operates about 200 chargers in the country, will gradually decommission them from March, the company said, confirming an earlier report by Chinese media Yicai. But the company plans to continue working with external charging providers, it said.
