ECB’s Schnabel Doesn’t Expect Rate Hikes in Foreseeable Future

European Central Bank Executive Board member Isabel Schnabel said she doesn’t expect interest rates to be lifted for some time.

Speaking after comments she made recently prompted investors to ramp up bets on borrowing costs being increased next year, Schnabel said she didn’t say that rates should be raised.
