Turkey Finds Suspected Russian-Made Drone After Recent Shootdown
Turkey said it has found a crashed drone believed to be Russian-made in western Kocaeli province, adding to a series of recent security incidents amid rising tensions in the Black Sea region.
The Interior Ministry said the unmanned aerial vehicle was found in a rural area and appears to be an Orlan-10 used for surveillance and reconnaissance. Photographs showed damage to one of the drone’s wings, broadcaster NTV reported. An investigation is under way.
