Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the next step in the Gaza peace process should be naming a “Board of Peace” and identifying the group of technocrats who would help run the enclave, as the Trump administration looks to bring fresh momentum into the process.

Rubio said accomplishing those tasks would pave the way for a stabilization force of foreign troops to provide security amid continued violence and enable mediators to push toward the next phase of the 20-point ceasefire between Israel and Hamas signed in October.
