Estonia is planning to join the race for a successor to European Central Bank Vice President Luis de Guindos, joining a growing field of contenders for the institution’s second-highest position.

The Baltic nation will nominate Madis Muller, the governor of its central bank, a spokeswoman for Finance Minister Jurgen Ligi told Bloomberg on Friday. Muller confirmed that “I’ll submit my candidacy and I’ll take it seriously.”
