Eminence Capital Demands Graphic Packaging Bring Back CEO

A major Graphic Packaging Holding Co. shareholder is blasting the company’s board for firing its chief executive officer and threatening a “public campaign” unless that decision is reversed.
The board made an “enormous mistake” replacing Michael Doss this month with Robbert Rietbroek, Eminence Capital said in a letter to the board disclosed Friday. The company said this month that Doss would step down and be replaced on Jan. 1 by Rietbroek, the former CEO of Primo Brands.
