US Rebukes S. Africa After Alleged Detention of US Officials

Washington “will not tolerate such behavior toward its government officials,” the State Department said in a post on X on Thursday. “We call on the government of South Africa to take immediate action to bring this situation under control and hold those responsible accountable.”
