UK Appoints Turner as US Ambassador After Mandelson Exit

Christian Turner will become Britain’s next ambassador to the US, putting an end to the three-month wait for a permanent successor to Peter Mandelson.

Turner will take over from James Roscoe, who’s filled the role on an interim basis since Mandelson was sacked in September over his relationship with the late, disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
