Some of Starmer’s Make-Or-Break Local Elections May Be Delayed

Some local elections due to take place across England next year may be delayed in a move that could limit the losses faced by Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s governing Labour Party.

The government announced Thursday that 63 councils would be able to choose to put elections on hold for a year as part of efforts to streamline local government reforms.
