Ares Backs BC Partners’ Fortidia Purchase With Private Loan

Ares Management Corp. has provided a private credit package to back BC Partners’ purchase of Italian firm Fortidia, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

BC Partners agreed to acquire a majority stake in the shipping, fulfillment and marketing services company. While financial terms were not disclosed, an earlier Bloomberg News report revealed the deal values Fortidia at about €800 million ($938 million).
