A data center firm co-founded by ex-Google chief Eric Schmidt has partnered with a major Texas landowner to develop large-scale data hubs.

Schmidt’s Bolt Data & Energy Inc. raised $150 million of capital for the venture, while Texas Pacific Land Corp. invested $50 million, they said in a joint statement on Wednesday.
