Macron Says Tariffs on Chinese Exports Would Be ‘Uncooperative’

He wrote that a rebalancing was “urgently” needed and called for measures to be taken on both sides. He said the EU must address competitiveness concerns and foster innovation, while China should move toward a more favorable fiscal policy to promote domestic spending and bolster investment in Europe.
