Alberta’s $133 Billion Pension Names Ray Gilmour Permanent CEO

Alberta Investment Management Corp. appointed Ray Gilmour as permanent chief executive officer, more than a year after he took the role on an interim basis when the government of the Canadian province fired his predecessor and the board.

“The board has complete confidence in Ray’s clear management expertise and proven ability to excel, both as leader of this organization and as an effective steward of the funds Aimco manages on behalf of its clients,” Chairman Stephen Harper said in a statement Tuesday.
