Residents in Washington’s King County have been told to evacuate after a levee breached as the state and region is deluged with more torrential downpours sweeping through the Pacific Northwest.

The Desimone Levee in Tukwila about 12 miles (19 kilometers) south of Seattle has breached and the “area is under a GO NOW evacuation notice,” according to a National Weather Service social media post retweeted by Governor Bob Ferguson. “Leave immediately if you are in this area.”
