It’s pretty much common knowledge that without the explosive share-price growth and data center spending of a handful of tech companies, the US economy would likely be in a tough spot. That imbalance might be alarming on its own, especially given concerns that the current boom in artificial intelligence might not lead to corresponding increases in revenue or productivity. If the AI bubble bursts, it could take much of the economy down with it.
