Turkey Steps Up Rate-Cut Pace After Softer Inflation Data

Turkey’s central bank cut interest rates for the fourth time in a row, accelerating the pace of reductions following favorable inflation data.

The Monetary Policy Committee led by Governor Fatih Karahan lowered the one-week repo rate to 38% from 39.5%, according to a statement on Thursday.
