Fintech Airwallex to Spend $590 Million on UK-Focused Growth

Airwallex plans to expand across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa by the end of the decade, in a move that will ultimately see the fintech spend $590 million (£441 million) on its regional base in the UK.

The business banking firm, founded in Melbourne, Australia, said it will roll out products such as credit cards and billing management, while hiring dozens of staffers to take its UK headcount to 160 by the end of next year.
