Ghana’s economy expanded at a slower pace in the third quarter as the contribution from the services and industrial sectors cooled.

Gross domestic product grew by 5.5% in the three months through September compared with a revised 6.5% in the prior quarter, Government statistician Alhassan Iddrisu told reporters in the capital, Accra on Wednesday. The second quarter had previously reported as a 6.3% gain.
