Stripe and Paradigm Open Tempo Blockchain to Public, Add Kalshi, UBS as Partners
Stripe Inc. and crypto venture firm Paradigm have launched a public trial for their joint blockchain project, Tempo, opening the network to any company interested in building real-world stablecoin payments applications.
Stripe is one of many financial institutions, retailers and startups that have announced pilots, deals or partnerships related to this fast-growing corner of the crypto market. Interest in stablecoins has surged during President Donald Trump’s second term in office, and the Trump White House has fostered a federal regulatory framework for the tokens, which are typically pegged to real-world assets like US dollars.
