Sequoia-Led Funding Vaults AI Startup Fal to $4.5 Billion Valuation
Artificial Intelligence startup Fal raised fresh funding from investors including Sequoia Capital and Nvidia Corp. in a deal that values the company at $4.5 billion, according to a person familiar with the matter — triple its valuation from a few months earlier.
The deal, which was led by Sequoia, brought in $140 million, the company said, and marked its third fundraising this year. The rapid pace of dealmaking is a signal of investors’ appetite for AI tools gaining traction with developers and corporations.
