Pebble Debuts $75 AI Smart Ring With Microphone for Recording Notes

Pebble, the pioneering smartwatch brand that made a surprise comeback earlier this year as part of a new company, is expanding into a timely new category: smart rings.

The ring, called the Index 01, is a $75 device that uses a built-in microphone to help consumers remember things while on the move. And in a break from most other smart rings, which cost hundreds more, the Index 01 doesn’t include any health tracking features. The device is around the size of a wedding band and comes in polished gold and silver finishes along with a matte black option.
