Danish Premier’s Support Hits Lowest in Years as Election Nears
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen’s approval rating slumped to the lowest point of her current term, as the fallout from November’s municipal vote defeat weighs on her government ahead of national elections due next year.
Some 40% of respondents believe the premier is doing a good job running the Scandinavian country, down from 54% in May, according to a poll published by newspaper Borsen. More than half view her performance negatively.
