Payments Startup Airwallex Raises Money at $8 Billion Valuation

Airwallex, the business banking and payments firm, raised $330 million in a funding round that valued it at $8 billion and drew investors including T. Rowe Price and Robinhood Ventures.

The valuation is about 30% higher than in Airwallex’s previous round six months ago, according to a statement on Monday. Addition led the financing and Activant, Lingotto and TIAA Ventures also participated, the release said.
