Lazard Hires Ex-Macquarie Executive as Co-Head of Emerging Debt

Lazard Asset Management hired Alex Kozhemiakin to help oversee its emerging-market debt platform in New York.

Kozhemiakin, who was most recently with Macquarie Asset Management, is joining Lazard Inc.’s asset-management arm as a managing director and co-head of emerging-market debt, according to a statement. He’ll lead the team alongside Denise Simon, replacing Arif Joshi, who departed in November.
