Hayfin Buys London’s ‘Can of Ham’ Tower for £340 Million
Hayfin Capital Management and Capreon have sealed a deal to buy London’s Can of Ham tower, the latest sign of confidence returning to London’s office market.
The venture has acquired the 21 story building at 70 St Mary Axe from a consortium led by Nuveen Real Estate, according to a statement Monday that did not disclose the price. Hayfin paid about £340 million ($453 million) for the building, according to a person with knowledge of the terms who asked not to be identified as the pricing is confidential.
